Although we use other methods of site security, we always carry out Sucuri checks before making a site live and letting your customers loose on it!

Although WordPress is extremely secure, one can never be too careful and arming yourself with Sucuri will give you and your customers that added peace of mind!

That said sometimes you come across a client request that means you have to do a little research before you find the answer.  I recently had cause to show the post info on all categories except one whilst using the Enterprise childframe based on the Genesis framework..

After hours of research I eventually figured it out and thought I ought to post the answer here.

Here is the custom code which is placed in the child themes functions.php;

NOTE - Remove the space character in the short code [ post_date] etc!!

The above code snippet will remove the post info from any post associated with the category "Testimonials".

Genesis gives the flexibility we need and is extremely well supported. One of the deciding factors in using this particular framework is the fact that it is clearly established and supported by the IM community. Although we do some pretty techy custom coding the framework works just as well out of the box with an intuitive user interface and plenty of tutorials for late night reading!

That has got to be worth paying for surely?!

The backups can be set to run on a daily basis and can be in various formats; basic (the lot, every time!), incremental (adds any changes) etc. Currently we are backing up over 1.2 TB of data (that’s quite a lot of bits!) on one of our pc’s but the software’s data management saves on space and the restore function is an absolute breeze to use. Spider Mobile Website Design were commissioned by to create a mobile site for a Building Contractors.

As the background of the main site was fairly plain (deliberately) we felt that the mobile site needed to have some form of background or it would look plain on a mobile device. We chose to use a faded brick background in order to make the text stand out sufficiently.

The site is fully on-page optimized for the keywords agreed with the client.
